Originally, our aim was to distinguish ourselves from other forums, recognizing that many startup forums tend to rely on premium themes that eventually become overused and easily recognizable. To achieve this, we carefully selected a theme and customized it for our launch. However, in our attempt to be unique, we realized that the chosen theme was rather outdated. Additionally, due to certain animations in our logo and other factors, some of our members were experiencing performance issues, causing a slower platform than we had envisioned.

It's a well-known fact that a sluggish website can discourage users and result in a higher bounce rate compared to websites that load quickly and are more user-friendly. Keeping this in mind, our goal was to offer something not only unique but also something I personally had never seen on a forum website before. Our new theme not only boasts rapid loading speeds but also features a modern, sleek design that is distinct and offers extensive customization options. This will be especially valuable if we decide to expand with new features and designs in the future, as the previous theme had limitations in terms of customization. This also allows us to remove plugins we were using for the old theme, freeing up space and improving loading speeds, as the theme is already packed with features and compatibility without plugins.

In summary, our new theme is poised to enhance ad revenue thanks to its faster loading speeds and the flexibility it provides for ad placements.
