Are fund raising events affective to raise money for projects?

I have seen projects that depend on fund raising events to raise money. Those events are designed to see how people can contribute to support projects.

Are fund raising events capable of actually raising money? Have you seen a fundraiser event that actually raised good money?

I haven't been to one before, but i do know they are capable of raising money cause i have heard about people using this method to raise funds

Fund raiser events can raise money depending on who is attending such fund raisers. I have seen one fund raiser generate $5 million.
