Artificial Intelligence as historian, how credible?

My cousin who did not grow up in our town and has no knowledge of our genealogy posted in social media in our clan page about our heritage. Fortunately I have knowledge of our roots because I was able to access some information which our local historians had done. The information posted by my cousin is totally wrong and I told him about it and that when he disclosed that he was testing if an AI can do the job. AI's.may he helpful but it cannot be relied on in all things.

AI is simply a programming and can't replace man no matter what! AI can help man to source out information speedily no matter how voluminous the books or articles may be. AI is a plus but should not be relied upon to give authentic information.
