At what age did you start washing yourself without the help of your parents?

I think i start taking my birth when am about 11 or 12 years. Normally, my dad use to bath me but whenci entered secondary school i insisted that i must be taken my bath. That's how i start bathing myself but my dad use to complaing that i still don't know how to bath.
