Do you block some contacts from seeing your status? Why?

There are certain status updates that we have on social media and we don't want some persons to see it. That might be because the other person would become insecure seeing that kind of update from us. Several other reasons abound though.

Have you ever blocked a contact from seeing your social media status?

Yes, I did it in the past. The reason I did it is that there are people who will speak negatively about you even if you haven't done anything wrong to them. They just want to gossip.

I blocked many mostly foreigners who followed me on Facebook and later wanting me to have a chat with them. I also restrict some Facebook friends who kept on borrowing money. There are many annoying people on social media.

Yes i have blocked some contacts from not seeing my status for various reasons, sometimes its so they won't know am online, other times it's simply because i don't trust them to know what i am up to.
