As a business owner, your closeness to your customers is of primal importance. It’s from them that you get the best revenue for your business. If you are a smart businessman, you have to give time to observe your customers. You can view them through your hidden camera and check which one they like to buy. If sense that most of them buy the same product and somehow sense they’re out of stock, then you cannot force them to stay and choose other products. You must not argue with them. All you have to do is ask them politely and gently and if what you observe is right, then, provide them the best that you can retain them for your business. Your kind act will be priceless for the customers will never forget how you care for them and how you treat them better, thus making them feel good and important. This is one of the smartest moves. The business owner must listen to the needs of the customers and challenge your customers so that you can provide them with what they want and find ways to satisfy them.
 
For me i just dont see my customers as dose who would pay for my services, i still also see them as good friends and people i can form relationship with and at the same time manage a good business relationship with as well.
 
Reading your discussion, basically we must be able to provide satisfaction to customers. So we have to be friendly, but as business owners we cannot serve all customers alone, we are often helped by shop assistants, so we also have to supervise them when serving customers.
