The legendary American actor Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa were found dead in their home in Santa, Fe in the state of New Mexico.
The County sheriff reiterated that no obvious signs of a criminal act were found. In addition, also the couple's dog was found dead.
The very famous actor Hackman who recently turned 95, during his long career spanning over six decades, received: two Academy Awards, two Baftas, four Golden Globes and a Screen Actors Guild Award.​

Either someone might have poisoned them or they committed suicide and poisoned their dog before that.

The investigations are still ongoing and in any case these deaths are not without suspicion, this despite the fact that no signs of aggression or struggle were detected, only the entrance door was open (not closed from the inside). For now, they think the cause could be carbon monoxide poisoning derivative from the heating system.
