Have you Ever Been to a Comedy Bar?

Yes, I have visited a comedy club twice. I was watching a show by one of the Philippines' highest-paid actors/comedians. People weren't thrilled about him because he wasn't popular at the time. People are now clamoring for photo opportunities wherever he goes. Without a doubt, he is talented. When I return to Manila, I want to visit a comedy bar again. These days, we all need a good laugh.

I have been to a comedy bar years ago, the last one was before the pandemic. Yes, we need a good and hearty laughter but we can also just laugh at nothing and I am doing it with my staff before we start the day.

Tickets for comedy bars are expensive in my country but I do attend a comedy bar once in a while and I dare say that the nights are always worth it. Music and comedy is such a great stress reliever.

We don't have such bars in my area. Maybe some in central city but those are rare. There are special events when some comedian come in town. It can be organized in bars or hall.

We keep getting stand up comic shows in our city in pubs, bars and some other event spaces like an auditorium etc. We could never go there though we planned it many times. It was either due to time constraints or at times the the tickets were very expensive.

I see. I bet the tickets here have increased as well due to inflation. And you are right, we need a good laugh at times.

We don't have one here in the place where I live as well. I live in the province and I have not seen any comedy bars here. And good to know that comedians come to your town to perform on special events/occasions.

I did not visit such bars only because, in my opinion, the audience there is always very ill-mannered, but I have not been there and I cannot say for sure and this is only an assumption. I think you should try it because there are many such bars and many comedians in my city

The big advantage of such bars is the low cost of the ticket due to the fact that comedians who have only recently decided to do this can often perform, so you may not be lucky and you may end up at a not-so-good performance

I had the chance to visit a comedy bar before the pandemic. Due to the pandemic most of these. comedy bars were closed down for good.. Some of the comedians had ventured into other things like accepting out of town shows and we even invited some of them for our town's fiesta. One good thing about these comedians is they can belt out songs and they can really make us laugh.
