Difficulties don't come with any signal. We do save money but only according to our income. When my husband suffered a stroke my sons had to bear his treatments expenses. We didn't have that much of savings.
 
Learning some skills to increase your sources of income is definitely one way, another way to do this is through self discipline, to be able to manage what's coming in at the moment.
