Having friends is a great achievement, friends helps us in many ways, they can help us to make good decisions in live, they can help us do things we think we're unable to, it's also fun when chilling out with friends and entertainmening yourselves. But is it wise to have large numbers of friends, can this brings negative effect on us?

I prefer to have few friends with whom I share a genuine bond—quality over quantity. I believe in having friends there for me through thick and thin, with whom I can open up and share my thoughts or feelings without second thoughts.

It depends on you as n individual, personally I see no need in having many friends.
Yes it depends on nature of a person. Some people have a talkative nature so tend to make lots of friends whereas some may not.

Like myself most times I prefer being alone, so having too much friends around might be a disturbance

With friendship, I think it's more about quality than quantity. It's good enough to have a few good friends that I love, trust and have a deep meaningful connection. I have many friends and acquaintances. Those can be my ex-colleagues, singing group friends. For close friends, I have three. We share our feelings, celebrate good times and support each other in bad times.
