Recently during Khumb mela when pilgrims were passing through Bihar and some places Uttar Pradesh some passengers waiting in the platform broke the glasses of AC coaches just they were not allowed to enter the train without a ticket. Now this is something totally wrong. It's every Indian citizens duty to protect and preserve public property. Such miscreants should be arrested and fined heavily.

That was a terrible news and very upsetting one. You are doing all unethical and unholy things, all for taking a holy dip and washing away your sins. That's ironical.
Even when people protest demanding for some right thing, they indulge into such damages of property. That is so contradictory to what they are demanding for.

Those people doing it lack patience. It is not a good picture for them to smash the glasses just because they are denied entry on the train. It is a normal thing to enter a train even buses, shipping lines, and airline tickets are required. It is clear: No Ticket, No Entry,

I agree with your point. Unfortunately, literacy is very low in India, Many people behave irresponsibly.
The miscreants were some educated too some techies who have degrees but weren't brought up with ethics.

Some people think they have the right to destroy public property just because they are paying taxes.

Are those people ignorant or lacking education? Why are they not afraid of the law? Is the law weak and reckless? People must reset the law and respect themselves to avoid disgrace and punishment.

They escape punishment by bribing the police.

Sometimes i wonder how people like this reasons. Taking such action won't even help them in any way, but make things worse.
People nowadays like messing up things in India and creating trouble, especially the people of Bihar and UP.

If the police in your country could be bribed, then crimes there continue to soar. What a shame to the police public servant becomes public enemies.
