If you have friends who don't check in on you or simply ignore you, you should separate yourself from them. I've had friends who abruptly stopped talking to me, almost as if we were never friends at all. This could be because they are preoccupied with their lives or because, as we get older, our circle of friends becomes smaller. If you contact them and they continue to ignore you, it's time to walk away. Your time is too important to squander on those who do not value it.

It is important to focus on the right friendships. Do not waste your time and energy on those who do not make time for you or ignore you. There are other friends who will be there for you without expecting anything in return.

The best thing is to walk away, but the truth of the matter is that it is never easy, especially if it's someone you really care about.

My friend betrayed me, she knew that the guy was my bf but she tempted him. She broke my heart and I tore our friendship into pieces.

So sorry to hear that, did the friend ever tried to make amends? And what about the guy, he is also at fault as well.

@eLdavis - It can be really tough to distance yourself from someone you care about, but it's often healthier than staying in a friendship where you’re the only one putting in effort.
@Starmix -I'm sorry to hear that. It's best to ignore such a person. There are better people out there who deserve your time.
@Kera - Yes, that's correct. It's not worth spending your time and energy on it. It can be really exhausting.
