According to the report,Taiwan says that four Chinese coast guard vessels entered its waters near the islands of Kinmen on July 11. In response, Taiwan dispatched four of its coast guard vessels to monitor the situation.

A video released by Taiwan shows its coast guard issuing a radio message to a Chinese vessel, requesting it to leave immediately.

The report added that the Kinmen Islands are strategically significant and lie close to the Chinese cities of Xiamen and Quanzhou.
