What can trigger you to overspend

Do you see yourself overspending or going overboard with spending? What triggers you to overspend? Are they things you can avoid?

Yes, sometimes I tend to overspend, especially when I am sad or depressed. I overspend on food. LOL. I buy them despite being quite expensive.

Most of the times i spend too much when i meet with my friends, i start overspending when i go out with them.
