What's the difference in the business model of a commercial bank and a micro-finance bank?

In my city, we have a lot of commercial banks. And we have some micro-finance banks alongside. I know that they all offer financial services.

But what is the difference between the operational model and business model between a micro-finance bank and a commercial bank?

I think that microfinance banks give small loans to the customers. Not more than $500 while commercial banks give big loans in millions.

Micro finance banks can't fund very big projects like petrol stations or multinational businesses. Commercial banks can.
