Which is best hotspot or usb tethering?

When it comes to sharing our mobile data with our computers and laptops, we have two choices: hotspot and USB tethering. But in your opinion, which is the best way to share the internet between a mobile device and a computer that has a strong connection speed?

I personally prefer the hotspot. That is because it allows the phone to still be in use even while sharing the internet, unlike USB cables.
