March 20th is observed as World oral Health Day. So, March becomes a month for creating and spreading awareness about oral and dental hygiene. It's important to have regular dental check ups.
Sensodyne in partnership with IDA ( Indian Dental Association) have created a Guinness World record enabling 27,396 digital dental check ups in one day at a single location. This was done with most online dental screening tests completed in 24 hours st Prayagraj on 18th February 2025.
Last year, Sensodyne had initiated 2 million dental check ups and activations.
Today we have this news published in most of the leading newspapers. They have even given a QR code in the shape of teeth to be scanned for a free digital dental check up.
I think it's a great initiative to promote the oral hygiene awareness.

Very true! While people are slowly getting aware of a regular checkup for their health, care of oral health and hygiene is slow to pick up. Dentist visits are still not done on a regular basis unless there is a real need. Some are not comfortable with it and some find it very expensive. Dental health insurance also has to pick up in many countries.
