A senior manager of an IT office in Kolkata jumped to death from a height from his office. He was in his 50s. The cause is yet to be known.
Most people in India are under stress, especially in the metro cities. The main cause is the bad work culture in the office as well as the home environment. Alcohol and drugs are another reason. In most offices the employees hold parties every month where almost every one consume alcohol and drugs. This is destroying logical think and leading to indiscipline. One who can't adjust with this situation either isolates himself or takes a drastic step like suicide.

I still believe that no matter what a person is going through, suicide has never been a viable option.
I do agree but sometimes a person takes this step out of extreme depression.

That's true. Stress and life imbalance is leading to such deaths.

Yes you are right @Kera suicide is never the answer or the way out. It's a pity so many people tend to result to it.
All don't have the capacity to tolerate sorrow, rejection or poverty.

If some of these people face the kinds of hardship we face here, it means most people won't live beyond 25 years of age.
The Indian professionals too are facing lot of hardships the only difference is in our country parents support their children financially until they start a career which I think doesn't happen in your country.
