Between US and China, which would you prefer to import business products from? Why?

I would prefer the products from US because of the quality issues , the Chinese products have. The sellers who sell Chinese products here don't give guarantee of the product. Whereas you can rely on the products hail from US on quality standard.

Do you think that you would be able to sell a US product with it's high costs in a country like India where poverty is massive?

If it's something where I seek a good quality, I will not go for any Chinese products. No matter how much they assure of quality. Somehow, the trust can't be established because of the experiences and rapport they have. For my electronic gadgets and other products, I don't mind paying a little extra and get something with the assurance of good quality. I will not go for Chinese products in this case.

India might have poverty . Though the population living under poverty line has reduced and is gradually reducing. India is the fastest growing economy and stands at 4th rank leaving behind UK. And it's well known that India is the biggest consumer market in the world. And it holds true for luxurious and expensive items too. That's why Apple has invested heavily in India. Their huge consumer base comes from India. And many more are going to invest including Elon Musk's Tesla. Our huge population is an asset there. If you see richest people across the globe, you will see many Indians there.

I prefer importing some of my products from China because it very cheap there

Importing strictly for resale into my country, Chinese products is far better to import and people in my country would readily buy Chinese because of how it is cheap.

Quality might not be assured from Chinese products. But they are very cheap and affordable and so can be bought by more people. US products ensure quality but are high ended and only few can afford it.

Since I deal on wears now, I would rather import fabrics from United States than from China. Durability is the thing to watch out for with that kind of product.
