Do you forgive a cheating spouse and still love him or her?

In my place, double standards apply in this. The society says that a woman should always forgive her man even when caught cheating. Same society says that if a woman is caught cheating, she should never be forgiven?

Do you think cheating spouses should be forgiven?

Even though I am not married, in my opinion a spouse who cheats, at least the first time, should be forgiven and not left. However, you spoke of men, but as you know, women also cheat on their husbands. However, I think the same thing about them too.

Though I am not married but my answer is NO. It's useless. The feeling auto disappears once cheated. The injury will not anymore be healed once see and be with a cheater. That cheater remains a cheater. It's in his or her blood and brain.

I believed to made a mistake in saying the word married, I should have specified that I have never had any relationship in my life. Consequently as you can understand, this makes everything different for me in this matter.

I have come to understand that men would always cheat. I have zeroed my mind on them. As far as they don't disrespect me with their cheating, that's their problem.

When if comes to questions like this i really do not like answering cause i honestly don't know how i would react, but i pray i do not fall for a cheating partner, cause i know i won't cheat.

Lol no am not like that, but my reason for saying I don't know how i would react is cause, it's very easy for me to say i would forgive or won't forgive right now, but when faced with this kind of situation, and with all the many emotions going on, your choice might be completely different. Then again i pray i don't fall for this, cause no matter the choice you make it is vey painful.

I will never forgive a cheater spouse. Though I'm single but when it happens to me during marriage a second chance is impossible to attain by the cheater. Enough is enough.
