Elon Musk's X, has officially allow adult and graphic content on the platform. The policy though was already in place when the platform was known as Twitter before billionaire Elon Musk purchased it in 2022.

But it is just updated now that
users can create, distribute, and consume material that as to do with sexual themes as long as it is consensually produced and distributed.

At the same time X said it will be restricting adult content for children and for adult users who choose not to see it.

Is it that there would be no form of censor to this. How would they prevent this from being harmful to underage kids on the platform?

it has been stated that you can turn off the images or things you don't want to see on your page. There's a feature for that

Elon Musk has always been a person that is more inclined towards people being free and doing what they want to do without restrictions.

Yes they are some business owners that are just liberal. You can do what you like provided it doesn't hurt the next person

Elon Musk is only after making money. He is not concerned about morals and ethics. It is definitely wrong and will set a wrong precedent for other social media companies. The level of social decay will triple and a lot of young people will be affected.

It would just be best to monitor your kids and their time on x probably this is one of the reasons people are moving to other platforms.

For me it looks same as it was just Twitter. When they will open public profiles even for not registered users like before? I don't want to make account just for reading one post in a month on their platform.

Well, it is up to parents to monitor their kids to he sure they are not viewing the adult content
