Has anyone used a solar charger for their phone?

I some times spend time in a smaller city where there no electricity for more than 8 hours daily. Hence I am thinking of purchasing a solar charger for my smartphones , tablets. I would to find out if any member is using a solar charger for their smartphones? If yes how much does the charger cost and is it reliable?

I used a solar panel charger for my old phone, that was years back tho. If you want to purchase a solar charger, ensure it has the capacity to carry your devices, if not it might damage the battery.

I have never used a solar charger for a smartphone. I will check online to see if there is an available solar charger. It can be helpful during power interruptions.

Not yet but when I can I will buy one, I imagine it must be something quite useful, although we would have to see if this type of charger charges the battery well like a normal one and how long does it last with the charge of this charger the battery

I see solar chargers for phones on Amazon for 25$. If it is good it can be good stuff for crypto miners. Free current will lower expenses and increse profit.

For 55$ you can get 20 000 mAh capacity which can charge several phones.

That's true. Solar chargers are selling well in my country too because the power is just so inconsistent. I am thinking of getting one myself.

There are modern solar panel systems that works the same as the alternating current does. That is because they use inverters that basically converts the direct current to AC

I have not done it or there is none in the city where I and in other cities using a solar panel to charge a phone. There is always current here.

There are so many varieties to choose from here in my country. I think the prices and specifications differ from country to country.

The solar charger model my husband and I still have, was purchased about 9 to 10 years ago in my former country. They are still working well.
