Crypto Jacking is crypto mining malware that is used to mine cryptocurrencies such as Monero, LTC, Doge, etc., secretly or illegally using other people's devices, be it smartphones, PCs, laptops, etc. The visitor or owner does not realize that their device is being used to mine crypto. Illegal miners will insert scripts into the website, so that when you open the site the script will start working and mining crypto. Of course, your device will become slow, heat up quickly, and will quickly become damaged. So how can you avoid crypto jacking?

I have heard a lot about this, even once I was analyzing my PC in case it had been infected with such malware, I think that the best way to prevent this from happening is not to download apps or software of dubious origin, and to scan your PC with your antivirus frequently.

I agree with you, we must always scan the device with a capable anti-virus on a regular basis, and we must also manually set the download where it will be placed so it doesn't download automatically.

Prevent crypto jacking by using reputable antivirus software, keeping software up-to-date, avoiding suspicious websites, using browser extensions to block mining scripts, and regularly monitoring system performance for unusual activity.

I agree with your opinion, we can prevent cryptojacking by installing extensions like minerBlock, but a lot of cryptojacking is also sent through advertisements, usually through popup ads and shortlinks, so we also have to block advertisements by using the Brave browser.
