Cold wallets or hardware wallets have become a primary need for security, especially for crypto holders above $1000, and until now cold wallets are considered the safest place to store large amounts of crypto. There are various types of cold wallets out there, so it will be very confusing especially for beginners to get the best cold wallet, Here are some tips/ways to choose a cold wallet:
1. Pay attention to the storage capacity of the various types of crypto, cold wallets that can only store BTC and ETH are certainly cheaper.
2. How to connect to other devices, be it laptops, smartphones, etc., some use USB, Bluetooth and some only use QR codes.
3. The price of a cold wallet is often associated with the amount of crypto we have, if we have more than $6000 in crypto, I think it would be worth buying a cold wallet for $200.

What do you think?

For me, the number of tokens they accept and the security they offer is the most important thing, and of course, the price is also an important factor.

For now l think that l really don't need the cold wallet because l am still starting out the crypto journey and l still have very little crypto coins to hold for now.
As Coinbase suggested when my crypto balance first reached above $1k, they advised me to immediately move the balance to a cold wallet, as a safer place from hacking.
