According to the report, Kenya continues to remain on edge as anger against the William Ruto government grows. What started as peaceful protests have snowballed into a campaign demanding President Ruto's resignation.
The report added that in an attempt to quell anger, the Kenyan police have banned protests in Nairobi's business canter, the epicenter of the protest. Kenyan police say the decision was taken after officials received credible intelligence that organized criminal groups are planning to take advantage of the ongoing protests.
In the update, it is noted that the government was trying to evade the possible entries of criminal acts from the gang groups, taking advantage of the protest. They have to respect the law and the decisions made by the president.
