Low social status of online business owners

In some countries, employees especially government employees and employees of large companies have a good social status, while online business owners have a low social status, are criminally defamed, cheated, exploited , robbed by government agencies, though they are well educated and skilled. Do government agencies criminally defame online business owners making fake allegations to ruin their reputation in your country?

One thing I know my country is trying with is that they try to encourage entrepreneurs, rather than defame them. They should know that the public sector can't grow any economy as much as the private sector.

I don't know why people making honest money online should be defame or given a low social status. it doesn't make much sense to me
