Man butchers wife over infidelity

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command arrested a 42-year-old man, Victor Okoh, for the alleged gruesome m8rder of his wife, Victoria Okoh, 38, in Oron Local Government Area of the state. Nigeria

The incident occurred at their residence in Effiong Essang street on Monday, March 10, 2025.

Spokesperson of the command, DSP Timfon John, who confirmed the incident said the suspect butchered his wife with a machete to d8ath over accusations of infidelity.

"At about 05:20hrs, operatives of the Command swiftly responded to a distress call from concerned residents. On arrival at the scene, officers discovered the mutilated body of the deceased lying outside the house she shared with her husband,”

The rate at which people resort to killing it's alarming, like they find it extremely easy to kill. We have to be careful when we go out and associate with people these days cause you don't know what the next person is capable of doing.

That was a gruesome killing, killing someone he dearly loved in the past. He might be wrong of accusing his wife infidelity. Who knows if they are distant relative. He should have not been impulsive. He might be remorseful, but too late.

There is series of killing and raping in Nigeria. In the Philippines there is series of drug trafficking.Thankful those criminals were arrested It's through the help of the Interpol those drug offenders were captured and jailed.
