I received an email by the above named earning site urging me to continue working in it so that l reach the payout threshold yet they fail to give me jobs on the site. Have you ever experienced that thing ever and how did you dealt with it?

No, I have never come across any such site. I won't like to experience it. I always join site when someone shows me the evidence of the payment otherwise I don't.

It pays but It's confusing because you get paid in their crypto called worken I got paid but I didn't knew what to do with it

I am trying it at present, mostly for watching a few videos along with other tasks, there are only a few videos at present. I will update if I receive any payment, the payment threshold is low at Rs 60, approximately 75 cents here.
