One of the things about myself is that I don't always like to say what I can't do. And I have made up my mind that if I am going to marry, I would have to write my own vows which would obviously contain only the things I can do in the marriage with no exaggeration or assumptions.
I think repeating those generic vows puts a burden of responsibility on you even when you are sure you can't do it.
Would you prefer the undoable generic vows or prefer to use your own doable vow?
