Smartphone swelling after some time

I have noticed that one of my older smartphones is swelling up. What could be the reason for the problem, is there any way to reverse or stop it expanding further?

The battery is the cause of the swelling. Be sure to change the battery unless it would soon affect the screen of the phone.

So this way you don't have the place to put your smartphone. Now, if this is not a problem for you, ok, otherwise as suggested in the previous message, you could definitely think about replacing the battery.

What model is the phone? These days replacing an inbuilt battery of a smartphone is not really much of an issue, an expert in this field should be able to do this. Around January i had a swollen battery issue, and it was replaced with a new battery by a repair man.

I asked you the brand of the phone simply for the fact that years ago I had the same problem as you with a smartphone brand Asus. However from what you wrote, you already changed the battery two months ago, so I can't figure out what your current problem could depend on.
