I've noticed that some local celebrities are promoting online casinos. I don't understand why they do this, especially since they know it’s wrong and they’re already wealthy enough without needing the money. I dislike it because it sends a message to their fans, especially the younger generation, that it’s totally okay to play online casinos. Yes, it is fine, but it becomes wrong when a person becomes addicted to it. Do celebrities in your country promote online casinos as well?

Well most celebrities are simply after making money, hence they do not really care about what they promote, as long as they get paid.

As long as it is legit, there is no problem. The problem is the mindset of those gamblers who never see the bad consequences of their gambling.

Indeed, this is why these gamblers usually fall into debts cause they end up getting addicted to the point where they loose everything.

That is correct. They are primarily interested in making money and do not care whether the products or services they promote may be harmful. It's fine to enjoy it as long as it doesn't become an obsession to the point where someone takes out loans to gamble online. I've read horror stories about this issue, where many people have taken out large loans due to gambling addiction. Now, they are struggling to repay these debts and extremely regret their decisions.

Those addicted with gambling may end up broke. I've heard of a casino gambler who sold his property thinking that he could recover his losses only to encounter huge losses, unable him to live decently. He became homeless.

I do think that those celebs are doing their job. Mind you they earn so much on doing that kind of jobs for sure

Korina Sanchez and Noli de Castro were involved in a gambling 6 years ago. They won millions that happened because they have millions of capital. Those losers gamble without thinking of the negative consequences.

Celebrities don't care about whether it is morally wrong to promote casino or gambling. They simply want to make money. What become of the gamblers is none of their business!
