Do you use web directories for SEO? How frequently, you submit your websites on these directories. Well, I no longer use web directories for SEO, however, in the past I used to use web directories.

I think those are outdated. Some are still used as backlink but it don't bring traffic.

They’re only out dated if the directory is full of spam links. It can bring traffic to your website. I wouldn’t underestimate a directory link.

directories are still being used and I don’t see them going anywhere anytime soon.

Yes, directories are still used and they are very important part of backlink building but the effectiveness of web directories are on decline.
