What are your thoughts on the future of social media platforms?

What do you expect social media platforms to look like in the future? In my humble opinion, I believe there will be increased surveillance/tracking of our data, which I find pretty concerning. In addition, there will be more advertisements, which may negatively impact the user experience. Also, the inclusion of more AI bots. How about you?

Since the use of AI is currently trending then I believe our social medias in the future would be filled with so many ai tools.

In my opinion, many things need to be changed a long time ago, because with such technologies it is impossible for Instagram to have so many bugs. A revolution is needed in this area

In the future there will be a lot of features included on social platforms, it will be like you are in a 3D world but just on your phone or computer. This means that you can almost you can feel the experience when you are interacting with anything on the platform. I also agree that there will be a lot of ads when we are browsing which will be quite disturbing but I hope consumer protection agencies will come to our aid and fight for our rights.

I don't see the future too bright for social media platforms. In the near future, social media platforms will lose appeal and a kind of AI platforms will be reigning. The Ai platforms will combine accumulated realities and virtual effects.
