What is your favorite strategy for saving money?

My favorite strategy is "paying myself first." I usually save a portion of my salary before anything else. The amount I save is not substantial, but I am happy that I got to save even if it is a small amount. Before, I did not have any savings at all. However, when I was confined in the hospital and asked for money from my parents, they got mad at me. That was the time when I realized that they were not willing to help me in times of need, so I needed to have my own money. How about you? What is your favorite strategy for saving money?

For me I don't really have a specific strategy for saving, I just mainly woke with a budget. I buy the things I need only.

I put a portion of my monthly earnings into a fixed deposit account. I never spend more than I earn. I always look for good deals such as buy one get one free. And I joined loyalty program to get rewards points which can be converted into cash when making purchase.

I save money in my saving account in my bank, once the money grows, I move to my investment account and then invest

My favorite strategy is to put it in one of the accounts I use the least and forget I have money, for me this is one of the strategies that works the most.

i do automatic transfer or what is called standing order where my saving money is being transfer automatically when the time comes

I don't have a strategy for saving because the bank doesn't give interest, even all the income I receive at the bank, some of which I transfer to ewallet, customer fund accounts or to crypto exchanges, it is better to have investment instruments than holding fiat money.

Yep, regular old savings accounts may not provide good interest. But don't worry, there are other investing options that can help it grow bigger.

I recently joined a rotational Communal funding with 5 other people. It's helping me save money. I recieve A certain lumpsum of money twice a year. It makes savings a must for me. But I don't overwhelm myself.

I always join a contribution trust fund. That allows me to save money as it is mandatory to contribute to the trust fund.

My ideal saving strategy is to save at least 10% of the monthly earning. I am not consistent because of the monthly amortization but will try to push for monthly saving

I am not following any such strategy at present and by nature I don't like to waste money and like to buy things that are required
