Generally speaking, credit cards have two different payment repayment terms, one, you pay full within the repayment time, which could either be 30 days or 45 days; and two, you pay 10-20 percent of the bill within the payment time and the after the payment time ends your bill you will be converted into loan and you will have to pay interest. The second option can be risky.

My credit card provides both options..but I have opted for the full payment. I use credit card basically to get credit card points and it's benefits. I don't overshoot my budget ever in the lue of using a credit card. I don't want to have any kind of debt or loan, even if it's from credit card. I clear my dues every month and don't let them pile up.
