Why do some people delete their social media accounts?

There are various reasons why some people choose to remove their social network accounts. They are concerned that their personal information may be compromised, they are unable to manage their time, they find social media a big distraction, and they wish to reduce their reliance on technology. My ex was addicted to social media, which hurt our relationship. He spent more time on his social media accounts than conversing with me LOL. I know that some people remove their social media accounts to save their relationships. Hehe

Yes, some want a fresh start while others because of personal reasons. I have a friend who deleted her social media accounts for peace of mind.

I understand that deactivating social media accounts can take up a lot of time. Personally, I also want to deactivate my TikTok account, but I do not think I will be doing it anytime soon. LOL
