Would you employ a staff who clearly betrayed his former employer by leaving abruptly?

There are staff that left their employer completely stranded as they were leaving the organisation. They didn't notify the employer, and they just woke up and left.

Knowing that a potential staff sitting before you for employment did that to his former employer, would you still employ such a staff?

It depends on how well connected the employer is. I have noticed that if the business owner is not well connected, a migrant or from a poor community, almost everyone will betray , while no action is taken against the rich and powerful when they commit frauds.
